Review on Precision Drilling made Easy 🔧 with General Tools 75801 Pin Vise by Tyrone Carter

I bought this from some online recommendations. It has a nice design, good grip and I especially like the swivel at the top for easy drilling. Where this unit fails are the included collets. They are crucial as they determine what bit size you can hold. Nowhere could I find a description of what sizes are suitable for these collets. When I opened the package I saw that the holes on the collets were different sizes, two of them looked very large. Further testing shows that they work with very few small drill bits. I was hoping to use a 2-56 tap but found there was no collet to securely hold that size. I plan to return the item and take a look at the Starrett Vise. If you are looking for a vise that works with small bits, e.g. 0.085 will work, look elsewhere.
