My daughter is 6 years old and very tall for her age (49 inches tall and 69 pounds). I chose size 7-9. Well, the fingers are too long. the fact that her body is the size of a 7-9 year old and the gloves are way too big for a 7-9 year old - THEY ARE BIG (on the fingers at least), but they're also a bit difficult to put on no Problem. For size comparison, I'm an adult, short stature, and the length of the fingers is perfect for my fingers, but the palm area was a little small for me - the velcro wraps around the bottom of my palm, not my wrist. Very cute (just like the picture) just doesn't feel good on the fingers.
