2017 F-150 XL Standard Cab. I have a center console with a padded armrest that fits very well. The door armrest height was too low for comfort. My truck has room for both pads, which I did. My arm is perfectly supported when I'm holding the wheel at 7 or just resting like you do when driving on the freeway with one hand (I know it's not exactly safe, but it's a lot safer than one to use a mobile phone, e.g. many calls). Where this REALLY helps is when you're not driving and just want your hand to be supported while it's off the wheel. Then it's like sitting in a chair. I have a long torso and sit higher than most, so your experience may vary. GREAT.
