These lanterns arrived with a little damage to begin with and are very fragile. In addition to the two broken lanterns, three other lanterns went out within 24 hours. We used them to line the driveway, they are the softest of lights. If our 10 pound dog gets too close to one of them or touches them very gently in passing, the bulb will rupture. For fear of electrocution we had to cover some broken lights with waterproof tape because if the light breaks the wire stays exposed. I hate throwing things away and feeling like trash, but the day after Christmas they end up in the trash. It's not worth it!
