This is the best low profile Nintendo Switch case/grip ever made. The TPU plastic is soft enough not to scratch the switch when you turn it on. However, when you use it, it is difficult to put on and take off to dock. I use it as a permanent switch with this case and another docking switch. This case makes it much easier to use your Switch on the go, and you don't have to worry about damage when you're away from home. The ZL and ZR buttons are exposed, but if you're careful like me, that's not a problem, and I definitely prefer regular ZL-ZR buttons rather than some kind of coating on the buttons. It's also worth noting that you can use the lid as a stand and the magnet will hold it. I see complaints about the strength of the magnet, but I think that's spot on. You want to be able to take it apart easily while still holding it perfectly on its own. The guy in the video above shakes it really hard and it's just ridiculous. The magnet works great while playing in handheld mode as usual. They could have removed the protective film and charged $5 more and I would have gotten it anyway. I immediately bought another one because it's so good.
