Fun Start Sewing Kit

I bought this kit to work with my 8 year old granddaughter. She has made easier kits in the past and skill wise she could do it. One of the problems she faced was the thread. It was an ordinary embroidery knot and she had no idea how to untie it or what to do with it. I showed him how to do it, but she didn't quite get it. She could visualize the cutting and the actual sewing and did it very well. All in all it was a good intermediate project for a young clown. Adult supervision is required as there are several new skills. They can be done by coordinated teenagers
