I've been desperate for a decent pencil sharpener since my son telecommuted at home at school. The cheap hand pencils I bought him from Target are just that—cheap, and they eat up his pencils without sharpening the tips. So I went to Revain and searched for a long time, taking the time to read the pros and cons of each. Product overview. What attracted me to this particular pencil sharpener is that it has a manual mode (where you can sharpen by hand) and an automatic mode (which activates the electric sharpener). It is small and portable and comes with an extra sharpener. It's also easy enough for my 6 year old to use on his own. As you can see in the video we sharpened quite a few pencils and each one had a very sharp point. I am very pleased with this pencil sharpener. The only downside is that the small container fills up with chips fairly quickly, but there's nothing you can do about that since it's a portable size. I would recommend this sharpener if you are tired of blunt tips!
