Definitely not waterproof. Flows around the lightning.

I like the strength of the material. More pins can be used. I was transporting a very expensive mattress to a customer, it was raining on the way home. When we opened the bag, the mattress around the zippers was very damp. If I had known it wasn't waterproof I would have put the mattress in another plastic bag first. I lost $50 in the sale.
