Review on Charmore Nylon Waterproof Anti-Theft Travel Backpack - Lightweight Rucksack With Casual Daypack Design For Women by James Lapa

I can't wait to travel with this bag!

Last year I spent a week in London by myself. I had used a crossbody purse which felt like a lopsided boulder, and it gave me shoulder pains and uncomfortable sleep the entire time. When I returned home I determined to find another option to carry my daily essentials so that I could enjoy my time with a little less pain. From numerous recommendations in a ladies' travel group on Facebook, I liked their suggestions for these anti-theft backpack purses. I wanted a backpack which also had a purse strap, so that I could easily transform this into a shoulder bag for museums and other places where backpacks aren't allowed. I recently tested this out on two morning excursions to various marketplaces - nothing quite like what I'll be doing while traveling, but it's COVID time and there isn't much to do or see this summer lol. I got the Medium and inside the main/back area I was easily able to store my large wallet, foldable tote bag, mask, hand sanitizer, notepad/pen, and several small purchases with plenty of room to spare. The side pockets fit the 16.9oz water bottles perfectly, but I haven't tried to fit larger bottles in them. The front pocket isn't large but I did easily fit my car keys (with a fabric wrist strap and three other keys) in it; I imagine you could fit small non-valuable items like tissues, hand sanitizer, chapstick, but not a whole lot. While wearing the backpack it was very comfortable and I barely noticed it even in the summer heat. I will likely keep a velcro strap to help wrap up the straps (so that they aren't long and dragging) when I wear this as a shoulder bag. It was a little cumbersome to take off the backpack, retrieve my wallet, pay/ other activity, put items back into the bag, zip close, and re-wear, but if it means that my items are secure and safe then I can handle a few extra seconds of these steps and with enough use this will become a smoother operation. I have yet to test the bag's ability to stay dry when wet.For my next vacation I imagine that I'll be able to carry my DSLR with one lens (maybe both) and extra battery, thin wallet, map/guides, phone, hand sanitizer, chapstick, notepad/pen, thin tote bag (for groceries or larger purchases), snack, water bottle, and small trinket souvenirs comfortably in the bag.My only wish is that the lining were a lighter color for quicker discovery of items; I really dislike dark interiors for bags because it's like my stuff disappears into black holes, seemingly never to return.Overall I really like this bag and I'm itching for my next vacation to use it!
