Saves a little space, but not much.
I bought these to tidy up my closet as we only need coats for half a year. Added a before and some after photos to the post. You can see how stuffed my wardrobe was before. This is a small closet. With coats on space-saving hangers, it saves space, but not much. The hangers also feel cheap like they might break under the weight of a coat but still hold up even though I just bought them.
