I should have bought them first. I bought a newborn gDiaper starter kit and they had serious leakage problems. At first I just bought a baby bag with buttons because I was worried they would be too big for him when we first brought him home. My little one was 7lb 8oz at birth and they fit him perfectly. They were a bit bulky, but we had no issues with leaks. I have since bought 2 more cases and many more inserts. Pros: snaps, no velcro. Washing diapers with Velcro is a pleasure. With zippers, you never have to worry about ruining diapers because you forgot to fasten the Velcro. Dries very quickly. Easy to put on. Easy to explain to other caregivers. My MIO was completely lost when I showed her my other diapers. The buttons are so intuitive. Basically I think these are the ones you should get. I have tried other diapers and am now selling them to make buttons for my entire stash.
