I'm sensitive to noise when trying to concentrate, so I have to wear headphones (over earbuds, no less) for long periods of time and I wear glasses. Conventional headphones cause temporary pain even without glasses. I bought these replacement gels as an experiment for my Peltor headphones. They worked so well I immediately bought a second pair and am about to order a third because my son has the same sensitivity to noise. He immediately noticed the difference from them. For the X4A (pictured) you can break off one base (black) revealing a second base (white). For my other pair (bulky, maybe Optime or X2, not sure) I cut out some old foam and a thin plastic base. I carefully cut out a flap of Kore seals, but you don't have to. Then stick the gel seals on the base and you're done. These gel seals are much more comfortable than traditional foam seals, they block more noise and you can buy three pairs of these seals for the price of a 3M pair. Highly recommended. Also, the seller was proactive which was great when my first order was returned due to a downpour.
