I did a little research on different brands. I looked at the costs. chose this pair. Installation took about 85 seconds. It took me the longest to find something to hold the trunk lid open while I removed the old ones. Then a few clicks with a small screwdriver and you're done. The only complaint came from a lady who said, I quote, "it seems a lot more difficult to close the trunk." well yeah well. now it opens normally by itself.
