These parts are defective. Honda recommends only genuine Honda products for the Honda CR-V 99-01 series. They were on my car for a few days before they came into contact with the AC Delco brake pads I bought. The noise was a loud and uncomfortable harmonic noise that Honda couldn't fix. After Honda initially installed the AC Delco parts, I removed them and installed the original Honda original for me and fixed the problem immediately. An issue with these parts also resulted in my emergency brake staying on on the rear brake assembly, making it difficult to brake safely.
