Yes, they smell! Just be prepared to open the box and packaging from the outside and leave it out for a few days/weeks. We use them on our boats and caravans. Bought 3 sets over the years and have been happy with them. We mainly use them on the concrete surface in the garage but plan to use them on a trailer when camping soon. At the moment this new set (like the other set) is being used outside on a 34ft trailer on a gravel surface and is looking good. Will be updated if there are problems.
