The Funanasun emergency radio can be used for many useful things. The extremely loud SOS signal makes a loud annoying noise that anyone can find to help or just turn it off! My grandchildren found it useful to charge tablets and phones with. They even liked the fact that the radio could be charged in the sun or had fun turning it on. They even wired our colored LEDs that we use for the van and tent. The bright LED flashlight came in very handy and useful at night in our dimly lit tent. What's not to like? You've got an emergency weather alarm if you need it, a radio with a headphone jack for your peace of mind (kids you know), a good flashlight and how about a bottle opener. And you can actually use a solar charger or battery charger if you install or three AAA batteries. Hell, it even has a removable lithium battery that can be removed if a spare is needed. Some might think it might be a little pricey, but I found it useful in a number of ways. I would highly recommend this for boaters, hikers or anyone just wanting to get away.
