I ordered these lights with the incandescent bulb option a couple of weeks ago (for $63, not sure why the price keeps creeping up). The spacing is good, since the bulbs are actually pretty bright. They look very nice, like commercial-quality lights you would see at a restaurant, and the cord is heavy-duty as other reviewers have mentioned. One bulb was burned out when I received them, it even had a frosted appearance out of the box, so I'm glad I ordered a couple of extra bulbs.I'm not sure why they are listed as non-dimmable. We plugged our strand into an electrical outlet that is controlled by a light switch. My husband changed out the light switch for a dimmer switch and it worked! At full brightness, these lights are great for eating dinner outside or whatever, but I really enjoy dimming them for late nights on the patio. I highly recommend these lights, they are really nice.
