this is a very capable soldering iron and repair air pen, but the control is not very intuitive and easy to remember. The buttons are poorly labeled and you need to remember specific button press/hold commands to program the temperature of both the soldering iron and heat gun. In addition, the temperature display clearly shows the actual temperature at the outlet of the handpiece/ventilator. You must allow the entire instrument to warm up before you can trust the displayed temperature. If I bought it again I would probably spend a little more money and get a station with better handling. It's powerful and seemingly well-made, but the user interface seems to have been designed by programs from The Matrix.
