I bought a 4-legged Ottoman in a furniture store. One of its legs was assembled poorly in manufacture, and kept breaking off. It was no bueno. We even used superglue. The furniture store, of course, had gone out of business within a year after I bought the thing. I wound up taking off all its legs and it now sits, a very short seat, behind the couch. Kids occasionally use it.So, I went online and purchased a pouf. Well, that thing is just a cubic bean bag that cannot keep its shape to save its life. It works, but just barely.Upset at having spent so much money for two irritating little leg supports, I decided to try this one. Voilà! This so-called collapsible Ottoman does not collapse until you want it to and make it happen! It has no legs that break off! It stores stuff! It also looks really good and was a good color match for my barrel chair. This one is in use in my bedroom. I think I need another to replace the pouf. The pouf can become a bean bag seat for a square-bottomed person.
