Purchased for multiple installations of 40+ ONVIF POE IP cameras with Blue Iris NVR software. It worked great! I read in the review that it doesn't output POE to the camera, but whoever wrote that doesn't know how to work with it (you have to disable the 12V output, which then turns on POE). The retina screen is perfect and makes focusing megapixel cameras easier. I didn't have any of the issues that I read about in the lower rated reviews. I planned the network card for it. (I used 192.168.1.10 to .49 for cameras and left .1 to .9 for other connections). uses the same login. This populated all connected cameras on the tester through the router after performing ONFIV detection on the left side of the screen. I just went to the camera (which I had tagged with the last of the IP numbers) and clicked on it to see it. Some of the cameras were outside the building and I was too far from the WI-FI so I just plugged them in directly. with a network connection cable, through the POE output, the ONVIF quickly detected and reconnected to the network after the search is complete. There were other brands of this product, but they were more than double the price without the retina display. and lower screen resolution. The price and features of this device was the best deal ever! Delivery is also fast! ordered the same day.
