I was skeptical when I saw this. A few years ago I bought a "leverage" bead press for the same money and time. The leverage seemed to work. It might have worked better with some anchor bolts, but I didn't like a permanent attachment. I calculated the cost of this device and found that if it works, it will pay for itself on the 3rd bus. So I bought it and after using it I kick myself for not finding it sooner. Some reports indicate that you may need a few flicks of the wrist to actually snap the bead with this tool, but it worked on both tires on both sides the first time. Easy to use, easy to store. You really can't go wrong. I don't know how well this will work with car tires, but I can see it should work. it might take a few bites, but you're talking about 30 seconds to set this up, so an extra minute or two seems acceptable.
