I've had a quality leather wallet for 14 years previously and it absolutely broke me did. I replaced it with this one and was moderately happy with the design, but after only a few months you can really see the wear and tear on the wallet. It will be fine until I find a good wallet that I really like. If you just want a pretty good wallet that will last 1-2 years I would recommend this one. It looks good, the design is nice and overall Timberland is a good brand. But it cannot be compared to a real cowhide leather wallet.
