RMA in just 2 weeks

Everything about this laptop is just great. It has good typing buttons, a good screen, and an amazing graphics card/processor. The bad side is that the laptop stopped charging just two weeks after receiving it. This laptop lived on a cooler while I had it and the temp never got to 76 degrees. The laptop has been under repair at Asus for more than a month, which is a shame. Games were good, as was FPS, but be aware I've seen this issue elsewhere on recent Asus gaming laptops. If you want a reliable laptop I would look elsewhere or be open to a possible return. To update. The solution, by the way, was a new motherboard, which for a laptop can be anything! Anyway, this has never happened to me in all my years of owning 5+ laptopsโ€ฆ I got the laptop from Asus and immediately noticed the temperature was extremely high 98c+. I contacted Asus and they told me it was definitely bonded with liquid metal. I was very upset at this point and didn't trust Asus. I opened the laptop and you know what, regular thermal paste was smeared on everything! I quickly cleaned it and re-glued the thermal grizzly bear with a thermal stick to bring the temperature down to the normal 75-85C I was counting on from the start. I would have to repair it a second time within weeks to a month to fix the problem. The bottom line is that if this laptop breaks, you simply return it. Also, the power adapter gets very hot during gaming, up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. So unless you cool it with a fan, it probably won't last long! I love this laptop but my friend who got Alienware r17 with 3080 had no problems at all and it works 24/7. Spend a little more and get Alienware, trust me. To update. After another month of playing and running the servers, he died. The answer was again a new motherboard. Serious quality control issues with this laptop.
