A seam 2.75 on one leg and 3 inches on the other. Much shorter than in the photo. The waistband is very wide, 3 inches, with a 0.75 inch elastic inside, similar to a hose. The elastic is only attached along the seam, it can be easily moved. They are high waisted which is what I was looking for. True to size, but loose at the waist. Only the front has a double layer of material while the back is single thickness. I believe the extra front panel is what they call tummy control, but it's just as loose as the outer fabric so doesn't add to the control. I wish they were longer on the leg and the elastic sewn in at the waist. They don't stretch when they swim. I don't hate her, but I don't like her either. If you're looking for tighter thigh coverage, look elsewhere.
