Review on πŸ› IshiharaShoutenn Ishihara Awa Foaming Net: An Effective Solution for Luxurious Lathers by Lisa Simmons

Working product good for bath and bath accessories

The title of my review may sound like foam grid is bad but honestly there is no other way to describe it. I like it, but I probably won't use it. I bought this because I bought the Shiseido Ibuki Starter Kit from Sephora. For those of you unfamiliar with the Shiseido line, this is a fairly popular Japanese skincare line. Most of the time, Asian facial cleansers are meant to be very sudsy, as the belief is that you shouldn't touch or rub your skin while cleansing (exfoliating is an exception). If your detergent doesn't come out as a foam, consider purchasing a foam net to make your detergent foamy. I no longer use this because I found I didn't care too much about the Ibuki line and found making my cleanser foamy was a chore. ADVANTAGES: - Cost (super affordable) - Detergent foams very well and quickly. A: I really have no cons for the product itself. The only negative I can think of is that I have to physically rub it in to get lather (I know, first world problems and incredibly lazy). Overall, this product does its job very well. If you want something to lather, use that. But just so you know, the whole point of this is to ONLY lather the cleanser - DO NOT USE THIS AS A FACE SCRUBBING/SPONGE SUBSTITUTE. It's not for that.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • poorly thought out
