They have a wider fit and are slightly shorter.
I usually wear a size 6.5 US M and this is the one I ordered. They are adorable and comfortable. They're wide enough, but my fingers go straight to the tips. When I dance in it I think my toes might go over the edge because they are wide and only have an elastic band to hold my legs back. If I were to do it again I would order 1/2 size larger, although then the width might be an issue.
