I wasn't expecting much from these headphones, but when I put them on they were 1) lightweight and comfortable, 2) the sound quality was better than I expected for their price point. I also have a Bose Sound True 1s and have tested them both forwards and backwards and found that the hd461 delivers a much clearer bass sound and the instruments sound amazing. As for the sound of Bose, after listening to 461 they sound a bit muddy and their bass is punchier and not as well defined as the HD 461. Perhaps the only downside or downside I've found with these headphones (HD 461) , as they feel physically cheap, are all plastic, and look like they'll break if you're not careful. Although the wire can be removed, it's thinner than most wires and seems to scratch more easily if you're not careful or if you bend and break. I use them mostly because they're comfortable (although nothing beats the sound comfort of Bose, true: best) and they're light, look pretty good, not too stylish like the City models or the Momentum 2 (which I also have) . but they are a bit heavy (I have no problem) and my ears touch the internal speakers and hurt after 2 hours. But obviously the sound quality is much better). Ultimately, I recommend this HD 461 to people who are on a budget and want great sound quality. I hope this helped.
