I would buy them again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Comfort and sound quality. I'm sitting in an open-plan office concept. When I need to concentrate while writing, I put them on and block out ambient noise, even if I don't let music through. When I listen to music or podcasts, the sound quality is great!

Cons
  • Good, but not great

Pretty good budget headphones

Pretty good budget headphones. As for the sound quality, it does its job very well. When used with a phone the audio is a little quiet and distant so get an amplifier dongle to boost the audio a bit (I use a joystick). when used with a computer or laptop, although it works great with sound. The design leaves a lot to be desired. It's all plastic and incredibly light. The retractable strap is quite flimsy and will easily fall off if not held in place. The cable is nice and detachable, but the…

Beautiful headphones, but could have been better

I bought this for office work. I was intrigued when they lost $35 due to the really positive review of the 471 on self-loyalty. I only use the built in DAC on my Motorola G5 for listening. For my ear, the mids are a bit set back. The bass has a nice tone, but there's not much separation. Build quality is about what you'd expect for the current price, but they're comfortable enough to wear with glasses for a few hours. They don't have much grip. Overall I would prefer retro mono prices that are…

Very clean but not as noisy as expected.

I'm usually a Sennheiser snob but this is one of the few products I can complain a little about. They still sound amazing and fantastic. The only negative is the volume which I don't think is accurate because it doesn't close to the beat or even db dampens what you'd expect from cans like this and I'm not even a typical full bang eardrum "beats the customer" but when a good song is played, yes, I like it a little louder, almost as much as I like repetitive phrases. Overall, though, they were…

Very comfortable, closed back, great sound

My main considerations when selecting this pair of headphones were comfort, a closed back to prevent music leaking out while working, and the ability to drive traditional car audio equipment (laptops, mobile phones, MP3 players, etc.) without the need for an additional external amplifier. After using it for almost 8 hours straight, I was relieved to find that it is very comfortable and fits snugly in (rather than "on") my ears without undue pressure. The size of each ear cup feels just right…

Comfortable and sounds great!

I wasn't expecting much from these headphones, but when I put them on they were 1) lightweight and comfortable, 2) the sound quality was better than I expected for their price point. I also have a Bose Sound True 1s and have tested them both forwards and backwards and found that the hd461 delivers a much clearer bass sound and the instruments sound amazing. As for the sound of Bose, after listening to 461 they sound a bit muddy and their bass is punchier and not as well defined as the HD 461…

Very good headphones with good noise isolation!

Pros: Fits perfectly around the ears (although my ears are small). Very good noise isolation since there is no active noise cancellation. I personally like the sound very much given the price and the microphone works well. They are really comfortable and perfect for my daily commute. I also use them for gaming and Skype, for which they work very well. Neutral: Sometimes I need to move the cable closer to my mouth so people can hear me better. I like that the microphone is integrated into the…

  • High Price

I recommend swapping out the cable for a more durable one.

Let me start by saying that they are very light and you hardly feel them when you put them on. I usually have trouble with earphones because I suffer from headaches and migraines and so far so good. They are very comfortable to wear, especially if you are going to wear them for a long time. I use them every day for gaming, listening to music, and editing videos, and they're extremely useful when you're on a budget and want quality sound. The bass is good, I won't say it's very good, but it was…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

As a sound engineer I'm always on the lookout for a good set of 'neutral' sounding headphones for use in undesirable listening environments or for remote locations where there is no isolation from what you are recording. It's not possible BUT you still want to be able to judge the audio before/during recording. So far I've been using my old AKG 240df headphones (no longer in production). In fact I had several pairs of these until they were no longer used even on ebay. The only downside to AKG…

Pros
  • Just like everyone else
Cons
  • Terrible gear
