Review on Sennheiser HD 461G Headset Control by Todd Lowry

My main considerations when selecting this pair of headphones were comfort, a closed back to prevent music leaking out while working, and the ability to drive traditional car audio equipment (laptops, mobile phones, MP3 players, etc.) without the need for an additional external amplifier. After using it for almost 8 hours straight, I was relieved to find that it is very comfortable and fits snugly in (rather than "on") my ears without undue pressure. The size of each ear cup feels just right and comfortably cups my ears. This is very important to minimize fatigue when you need to focus for hours and isolate from the ambient noise around you. Great sound too, although I wasn't concerned about great sound quality for this particular pair of headphones as I personally prefer the open back option for home listening anyway. But for a comfortable, closed, nice-sounding, light and "inexpensive" headphone, I think that's pretty good. As an added bonus, the 461G controls also work with Windows 10 mobile phones.
