I was a bit nervous when I bought this product because some of the other adapters didn't work. But it successfully converted 5 component video cables from my old/original XBox 360 to HDMI. My TV doesn't have component inputs - it only has red/yellow/white RCA and HDMI inputs. If you only use the original XBox 360 with red/yellow/white, you get a 4:3 picture on a good 4K TV :( and no HD picture. So the component cables have to be converted to HDMI in order to get the picture stretched to full screen and for HD In short, this product has served its purpose!
