Review on πŸ§‚ Cuisinart DCC-RWF-6PK (12 Filters) Enhanced Charcoal Water Filters in Cuisinart DCC-RWF Retail Box by Katie Jefferson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Note the slight shifting of the letters in the word "hard ". The original filters are not distorted.

The filters I bought from the Java Lot seller turned out to be fake (although this probably refers to the 12 filters offered by others). I could compare with the original product. The clue was that although the boxes are very cleverly copied, the font and colors are slightly different. Some letters in the words do not match the rest of the letters (see photo). Cardboard is thinner and the top hanger flap is not a firmly glued piece like a real box. Unlike the original where each filter is packaged separately, the filters are packaged in pairs in an envelope. The filters appear to be slightly smaller, with less carbon or whatever is visible in the filter. The differences may seem trivial, but these are the methods used to detect counterfeit products. I returned them because while they looked like they might work and were cheap, why risk what's in the filter. You have no idea what's inside. Especially with all lead-containing products from China.
