Pay attention to how your holder looks when you take it apart. There is a spring there, so remember where it leads. Aside from the spring being in the wrong place, there's nothing wrong with replacing a broken needle. I was back to felting in a few minutes. The needles were identical to the original needles. They're very sharp, so stay away. Felting is quick when the needles are in the holder.
