Very limited cooling capacity.
These beads are smooth and well made. However, the amount of coolant inside is very limited, resulting in beads having a very limited cooling capacity compared to plastic beads filled with visible coolant inside. That's good because they'll never leak like plastic, but they really don't work well after being chilled in the freezer at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
