This is a fairly reliable light source. It's not the most expensive or cheapest out there, but it will get the job done. I love how you can choose from different color schemes, switch colors manually or by yourself, or toggle the light back and forth between cool and warm with the push of a button. Not to mention that everything can be darkened. The remote control is basic but works. The most confusing part of this is figuring out how to install the battery for the first time. Although there is a Wi-Fi button on the remote, you cannot control your lights through the app or over the web. The Wi-Fi button is used to connect the remote control to the light. However, I had a strange problem with the light. Again, this doesn't stop anyone from buying this light, but it's a unique issue. The previous fixture I had on the ceiling worked similarly, allowing me to turn the light on and off with a wall switch. For some strange reason, when my wall switch is in the off position, the light turns off, flashes, and then turns back on. I also noticed that my kitchen light, which is on the same fuse, also dimmed but returned to its full brightness when I flipped the wall switch "on" in my bedroom. Not sure if I have a broken headlight or if it was intentional but I will request a replacement and will keep you posted.
