Your coffee contains ground coffee
The basket and filter overflow and you get ground coffee. If you don't like very weak coffee, this coffee maker isn't for you as you always get ground coffee. I think the solution to this would be to only make 2 cups at a time, but with an already small coffee pot, is that really what you want to resort to? Also, the basket overflows with liquid, so when you remove the pot after brewing, it sloshes onto the stove.
