The fan is rather filigree. The front cover can be easily removed, so we are concerned about the safety with the baby. The clip is held together with cheap plastic snaps and broke on both sides within the first 2 days. Currently held together with an unrolled paper clip. Aside from the build quality, the functionality works and serves its purpose. If you use it as a desktop fan, I think it's ok, if you plan to take it with you, I would advise to be very careful and gentle with it. Now using the remote, it works. most of the time. Sometimes the fan's IR sensor detects the remote control, sometimes it doesn't. It doesn't really matter to me, but then again, it's about reliability.
