I got fed up with the sliding door inserts when the doors cracked, the magnets fell off and were terribly energy inefficient. So when I decided on a dog door screen, I wanted the best. I looked at them all and the Endura seemed like the best design to me. It arrived on time and was pretty easy to install (but I worked at a construction site). My first impression was very good. It took my dogs (English Pointer, Wirehaired Griffon Pointer, and Miniature Schnauzer) about a day to get used to the new style and increased door resistance. The doors protected very well from the weather and I was finally able to use my sliding door normally again. Then, four days after installation, the clips holding the magnets on both doors failed. I didn't even get a chance to send a warranty card! So no, I had a hole in the wall and thought I had a major overhaul. I contacted the manufacturer and to my surprise they replied the next day. They said this was a known issue and that they redesigned the clips and made the pair faster. The replacement kit arrived about 3 days later along with the installation video but they were exactly the same clamps as the ones that failed. too unsuccessful. I had to contact them and explain that the videos are not the ones on the video. Again they reacted quickly. They sent another replacement order, this time the clip was actually different and as described in the video, but they only sent 1. The new clip has solved the problem so far. I contacted them again and they apologized and assured me they would send a second clip. I don't write many reviews. But I have to say that Endura's customer support is fantastic, is based in the US and is very responsive. I was ready to go to war with the company but they killed me with kindness and support their product. I would definitely recommend this dog door, it's expensive but the quality (once attached) is excellent and the customer service is great. Hope that helps.
