I bought this console to replace the Daystar I was using. I liked the fact that the top one gave me more space under the console. Unfortunately, it has the same problem as the Daystar console. The switches just don't work. There isn't enough depth for the switch with the attached wire to not sag at the bottom. If you use a cheap switch you will break the terminal. Make sure you use the quality switch. I broke two cheap switches. They were provided as part of a light wiring kit. I ended up having to replace them with a switch from my local boat shop. The console itself is very flexible and the quality is pleasant. Be sure to lift the center console first to facilitate installation. You have to hide the wires behind it as there is a crossbar just behind the dash switches.
