My wife had problems with the storage ladder on our Jayco trailer. We've seen this type of ladder on new and rebuilt trailers and thought it might solve the problem. The price was quite reasonable and we ordered a ladder. We needed a two tier unit. It appeared from Lippert in a box designed for a 3-4 speed unit. There was no packaging inside for the device to slip. The box was damaged and the brackets that attached the unit to the door frame were bent. There were holes in the box it came in and I thought the mounting screws were missing. Luckily they fell out of the box before I opened them on the porch. I folded the mount back where it should be. All in all, this is one of the best purchases we've made for our camper. It is much easier for my wife to get into the camper. Installation was very easy and straightforward. I was concerned that I would have to modify the screen door for installation, but no modifications were necessary. In general a very good product. I'd happily pay another $10 for molded styrofoam to pack the box better.
