My reverse osmosis tap water improved immediately.
If I used to leave a bottle of reverse osmosis water by my bed with my 5 stage reverse osmosis system, I would feel disgusted when I woke up and took a sip. . Right after installing the UV light between the 4th and 6th step, let a bottle of water sit overnight and no noticeable aversion like before. I'm sure of it, and every six months I bleach the system and replace all the filters, which now includes the UV lamp housing and a new bulb.
