Review on Freedom HD00222 Exhaust Racing Chrome by Paul Zimmer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These things growl! Look and sound great!

I put them on a 2006 Fat Boy. I was looking for an absolutely true dual system (heads and fairings) that would bring the end of the tube back to the wing tip - and this was one of the few I found. I haven't seen or heard of them in person, but the tidbits I found online were pretty positive, so I gave them a try. They were more expensive than many others, but the price I found here at Revain was more than $100 more than the price I found elsewhere. They arrived quickly and were well packaged. The installation went great. At first I was concerned that the lateral manifold and heat shield weren't making things clear on the left (like the shift rod) - and it's pretty tight, but worked great. Nothing really had to be renewed. The chrome on it is quite impressive - feels very heavy and looks amazing! And then there's the sound. these things really growl! Quiet and raspy at idle and a nice bark when you step on it. I left the quiet partitions - they're loud enough for me. You're not uncomfortable, but people will surely know you're there. I am very impressed with these - good tubes.
