IT CAN BE BETTER on motorcycles and powersports

Much better than nothing, but not as good as I was hoping. I would like to suggest 3.5 stars. Here are my complaints - 1st photo - you can see that the bottom strap, when hooked, blocks the pull tab or button on the right side. This button releases the grips on both sides of the phone. Because it's closed with a rubber band, I can't apply enough pressure to pry the phone out of its grip. 2nd photo - the phone sits on the steering wheel and looks at me from the side. My handlebars are quite busy and I have to move the flashlight to another spot to get a firm grip on the phone holder. Of course my light would have to be moved and then it wouldn't point straight ahead because it would be where the phone is now. Squinting with him is annoying for two reasons: When I use my phone, I have to twist my wrist weirdly, which is difficult when driving. If I want to use the video to film my ride as well, it's at a weird angle. 3rd photo - shows the stretch required for the straps to hold the phone in place. It's fully stretched on this iPhone 11 and on my iPhone 7. I'm afraid it will break quickly. There were two straps. 4th Photo - My thin iPhone is too thick to fit properly in the holder. I wouldn't want to travel without a suitcase as it protects when dropped. As you can see this is one of the thinnest iPhone cases I can buy. However, the grips barely hold the phone. The rubber straps keep it in place, but the handles don't offer a proper grip. I have a similar phone holder in my car, but it sort of has a bottom shelf. It's not like this. If the strap breaks, my phone will quickly slip out of the bottom. The fifth photo shows the holder blocking my access to the volume buttons. The 6th photo gives a more complete picture of all the issues I discussed. I could have returned it for a different style with the wonderful Revain program but as they say it's better than nothing and I can still use it despite my concerns and complaints.

Pros
  • WIDE COMPATIBILITY - The width of the phone holder can be increased from 2.9" (7.4 cm) to 4.3" (10.9 cm). Fits almost any GPS or phone including iPhone 12Pro Max/11 Pro Max, iPhone 8, Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung S10.
Cons
  • Almost OK
