A wide opening for door and stair gates

I haven't bought a child's gate for a long time. The last few copies I had were very different from this one. In the past I had several walk-in children's gates. However, none of them were as wide as this one. Not only is it wide for a larger doorway, but also part of a gate. The ones I had were always very narrow and I literally had to turn sideways to get through, they were so narrow. As if they were big enough for a child to walk through. They were annoying to use and as soon as I could do without them I removed them. Fast forward: I needed a baby gate to secure the space leading to some stairs. These baby gates are matt black. It has several extensions to add breadth. For my particular door, I use a baby gate and just an extension. I have two other extensions in case I need to use them in another area in the future. I like that it clings under pressure. Installation is easy by simply turning the clamp shells on both sides. No tools are required and no holes are drilled in my doors. He also had the option of attaching it to the railing at the bottom of the stairs. These were very unique components that were metallic and domed. I don't need them at the moment but like the extensions I keep them in case I need to move the gate somewhere in the future. Another great feature of these gates is that they open in both directions. All my gates in the past only opened in one direction. This goes in every direction and moves freely. It also has the ability to stay open, which is nice. I don't have to remove the gate because I can just leave it open if needed. It also wiggles pretty well, so when you close it, it snaps into place by itself. I would say the safety opening feature from the top is a little weak. That's enough for small children or animals. For a little mischievous child, that might not be enough. It works for my purposes, but I feel like an older kid can pick it up quickly. It also doesn't take much force to pick the locks. Therefore, once the child has mastered the technique, it will be relatively easy to perform. Baby gates I've used this way in the past have had fairly strong locks that require some force to work. All in all, this is a nice baby gate. It's broad and easy to use. I like that it stays open when I want, but I can also flip it either way or close it myself. It is easy to assemble and the additional components make it a children's goal that can be used in the most diverse areas. I'd say it's an easy gate to use, but it might be too easy for the smart old biscuit.
