Works well and puts out as much heat as possible from a standard 15A socket. Very small (seen from my hand) and very simple, but does what it is supposed to. I bought two of these, the first one a year before the second. The first is used to heat my garage/doghouse, the unit is outside of the doghouse and facing the dog bed. She has an aviary in the garage and a dog door outside. This central Minnesota based thing runs continuously for about 6 months each winter but usually only at low temps until we see sub zero temps as this thing keeps a two car garage in a 70's build at 35 - 50 degrees in all conditions here. All in all, if you're looking for something to maintain a consistent temperature, all it has is a fan, low and high heat settings, and a knob with undetermined temperature control settings that can be figured out with a thermometer and for a while. Also, I don't think there is any type of ROPS, both of mine can be flipped and the device will continue to work. If you have the correct use of such a device, I like it. I've had many other more expensive heaters that don't produce more heat, some even less, but are more comfortable to use.
