It was supposed to work with Windows 7, 8, and 10. It works fine with Windows 10, but it does NOT work with Windows 7, which was the reason I needed this one.For Xbox and Windows 10 it was plug and play, worked fine. However, the sound was not great.I have tried several generic controllers by this brand, as well as comparable brands, and they don't last long. In my experience you're lucky to get 3 months out of them. For the money, I suggest buying a name brand or getting an OEM. My XBox brand controller has lasted for years.I wouldn't recommend spending too much on a generic controller with a very limited lifespan. If you are an occasional user and can find this on a really good discount, then fine. Otherwise, I would suggest spending a few extra dollars on a brand name.
