Review on OZ-USA Aftermarket Shoei Helmet Visor (RF-1000 Motorcycle & Powersports by Nick Ross

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It passed my skeptical review

Okay, I'm a rather skeptical Revain customer. That said, I don't buy things on a whim without doing research. This is one of the points that stood up to my critical analysis. It seemed to have mostly good reviews and not a 1 star rating (which can be a strong indication of poor product quality even if the average rating is good). So I ordered it on December 30, 2015 for $24.50 plus $1.84 tax but no. Shipping costs because I chose free economy shipping. It arrived today, although it was stated to arrive between January 7th and 12th. Relax. I've found this to be a common occurrence on Revain. Anyway, I replaced my OEM clear shoei visor on my rf-1000 shoei helmet with this aftermarket visor with no installation issues or anything. Simply attached like the original visors. The visor itself is of pretty good quality. It will most likely get scratched, but the plastic is quite dark, not just covered in a dark film, so it shouldn't matter much anyway. The fit of the visor in my helmet was excellent. The light doesn't shine through when fully down and it feels very solid when adjusted (like an OEM visor). So overall I'm happy with this product if it lasts, which I'm pretty sure. I thought the price was fair as the original visors are 2-3 times more expensive. You will be happy with this product but be careful with the various other colors it comes in (mirror, iridescent, blue etc) as their finishes will almost certainly scratch and crack (which is why I chose this one and not for a mirrored visor, which I thought looked better.)
