My apartment is quite humid in the summer so I rely on dehumidifiers to keep the humidity under control. The old one I use in my bedroom still works, but it's gotten louder, annoying and disrupting my sleep. This new one is much quieter. I'm a light sleeper and the noise level doesn't bother me at all. The noise level is at least as high as that of a table fan. Simple one button operation and it starts working. Moisture has accumulated in the water tank image for approximately 24 hours. That's a pretty good amount, at least a few ounces. This dehumidifier feels a little flimsy compared to my old one and the one I keep in the laundry, but it works great. The plastic used is not as nice as the others. But for $30 I think it's a great value.
