These straws are great for tea sipping if you drink loose tea as the straw filters out the tea leaves so you don't need a tea ball. These models are well made and come in a variety of attractive colors. They are much easier to clean than tea balls or strainers. Simply run water through the top of the straw. So easy. Two precautions if you are new to using tea straws (any tea straw, not just this one): 1. Do not drink very hot tea or you will burn your mouth. 2. Be careful not to chip the tooth as it is a metal straw. I know it sounds obvious, but it's easier than you think.
