Review on ⌚ Fossil Men's Gen 4 Explorist HR: Stainless Steel Smartwatch with Heart Rate, GPS, NFC & Smartphone Notifications by Paul Stocks

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The most beautiful Wear OS brand you can buy.

Bought for myself to replace a previous Gen 3 that I sold. I always thought "I DON'T NEED A heart rate monitor, NFC payments, or built-in GPS," which Gen 3 didn't have. Well, you don't need it, but it can come in handy, lol. Sometimes it's nice to add a few luxuries have. Since it's a Fossil it's certainly a great watch. They're comfortable, lightweight and not bulky than regular watches. Cool are the faces on Fossil too. For those who care about battery life, you know, if you have experience with Wear OS (Android) watches that the battery life takes anywhere from a few days to a week to stabilize, every watch I've bought including this one lasted about 3 days, out of 50% in the end of the day to 70%. However, it depends on the number of uses. Pros: - Fossil knows how to make well-designed watches. Tracks activity accurately, even when running on a treadmill. With a heart rate sensor, NFC and integrated With GPS, you can take full advantage of Wear OS. This hardware must be implemented in all clocks. The pushers and crown have a better click feel compared to the 3rd generation. The vibration for notifications feels strong. swimming protection. Gen 3 was only waterproof. The Bad: The Wear OS gets significantly better. It's a very good watch, but it's not an Apple Watch (Google's fault). "They're still using the old Qualcomm 2100 Wear processor. - No dynamics compared to the last generation. - Some people will never be satisfied with the battery life. Like the leather/silicone hybrid strap that Fossil offers but don't want to pay the price for, I bought this one. Looks similar and costs almost twice as much.
