What we actually have: - there are no complaints about the appearance, the adapter is compact, though the wiring really looks thin, but I don’t think this should be a problem - connected Sony XBA-A3 headphones (I bought them a long time ago, now they are not on sale, their analogue Sony XBA-Z5 is on sale, the price tag is from 42 thousand, i. E. I want to say that Sony XBA-A3 is enough high-quality headphones), and so, the first thing I heard was that something was clearly wrong with high frequencies, they are either too high, or somehow reproduced incorrectly. tested on a couple of tracks. immediately reconnected the headphones to the computer, turned on the same tracks - everything is fine with the sound. I listen to music on my computer through the built-in sound card, i. E. I don't use any special tools. the difference is very noticeable, when listening from a computer - the sound is normal, when listening from an iPhone through this adapter - the sound is unpleasant in terms of high frequencies - what solution did I find: on the iPhone, in the equalizer, I chose a setting in which low frequencies are overestimated and high frequencies are lowered - this slightly corrected the situation What conclusions can be drawn: It's not original from Apple. the price tag of 1100, although it exceeds offers for 200, but clearly does not correlate with the fact that official Apple resellers offer such adapters from 6 thousand - here in the reviews they wrote that this adapter allegedly has a high-quality DAC - this is also not true - if you have high-quality headphones, you will hear the difference in sound - put 4 stars because I think the price is reasonable
